Giving back is very important
to a successful, thriving, happy community. At Pockitability, it
is an important focus. 10% of all profits will be given to the
charities listed on this page. Each organization has been
recognized as putting no less than 83% of their donations
towards programs.
World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization
dedicated to working with children, families and their
communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling
the causes of poverty and injustice. Working in nearly 100
countries around the world, World Vision serves all people,
regardless of religion, race, ethnicity or gender. BBB
accredited, 85% of funds received by World Vision are used to
benefit children and their families in need worldwide.
Habitat for Humanity aims to eliminate poverty housing
worldwide. Building safe, decent shelter is the heart of the
organization, but the mission also includes: advocacy,
weatherization, water and sanitation facilities, housing
microfinance and training in construction and financial
literacy. 84% of funds received are spent on programs benefiting
those in need.
Boys & Girls Club provides a safe place for children to
learn and grow, and builds ongoing relationships with caring
adult professionals. The organization offers life-enhancing
programs and character developing experiences, plus hope and
opportunity to the young people who need help. 87% of funds
received go to programs benefiting the youth. 4,000 clubs in the
United States serve over four million young people with nowhere
to go by providing them a safe and beneficial environment.
National Breast Cancer Foundation provides mammograms for
those in need, allowing for early detection which saves lives.
They increase awareness through educational services, and partner
with medical facilities across the United States to provide free
mammograms and diagnostic breast care services to underserved
women. They assist with treatment and provide nurturing support
services. 83% of funds received by this organizations goes
directly to programs.
